- This former show heifer, purchased at a VIVA Sale from Arnold Benavides has been one of our most productive and fertile cows. She is extremely clean, keeps her condition and raises a heavy calf. Ultrasound data on her calves indicate that she produces offspring with good carcass potential. Texas Sixty's dam is a half sister to one of Sally Buxkemper's best cows that consistently produces choice steers and high marbling bulls. Catalyst was the highest marbling bull in his contemporary group at Stagg's bull test so the mating of these two bulls with Arnetta could produce some fine progeny with excellent carcass potential. An embryo calf by Catalyst is due spring 2004. She is currently with ZZ Navigator, our Catalyst son out of a Bech daughter for a spring 2004 calf.
- Embryos Available: RX Texas Sixty (ASA 2057638), SCC Catalyst J227 (ASA 2046205)
